We’re a working bird farm in Torrington, southeast Wyoming, with acres of great cover for pheasant and chukar hunting. We raise the birds ourselves, and you hunt them over your dogs or our dogs.

Hunts are morning outings from September through March, for groups and individuals, and for beginners to seasoned hunters. We can tailor your hunt to your specific needs.

You’ll see families with kids out for their first birds, buddy groups, a company crew, and plenty of folks back for another season.

We raise pheasants and chukar for release for groups and individuals.

The dogs

Bring your own dogs and work them, or go out with our guides and their dogs. Four German shorthairs and a German wirehair — all pointers.

Plenty of hunters bring their own pups. Young dogs come out for their first live birds.

Dax
German wirehair. Gowdy’s Dax is “one heck of a partner in the field.”
Nellie
German shorthair. Miss Nellie joined the farm in 2024 and turned two in February 2026.
Ben
German shorthair. Our hard working Ben is “always ready to find the birds!”
Bud
German shorthair. One of the seasoned dogs.
Knox
German shorthair. Seasoned too — she’s been in the farm’s hunt photos since 2021.

Fun Runs

A Fun Run is 2 hunters and 2 dogs, twenty minutes to find 10 chukar. The team with the most birds brought in wins.
